In the previous article we saw how to use Google Sheet with TexAu and now let's see how to use CSVs with TexAu Spices to process all the data at once.

How to use CSV with TexAu Spices

To use CSVs with TexAu Spices, please keep a note of following things to avoid issues while running the Spice.

  • You need to download the template first provided for each automation and paste your data in it.
  • If new data is added frequently you can process only new results as well by checking an option.

Now let's see step by step process and run a TexAu Spice with CSVs.

Step 1: Getting the data ready

I had used Twitter follower Spice and extracted all the followers of one of our competitor and now my data is ready for processing.

Step 2: Download the template

Visit the Spice page, click on CSV and download the template.

Click on the "Download" template.Click on the "Download" template.

Now that you have a download ready with all the data to process, let's create a link that TexAu Spice will use to view and process the data.

Step 3: Add all the required data

Let's copy the full name from the Twitter followers CSV and paste it in the template.

Paste all the data:

Once your CSV is ready, let's go and process it. Simply upload or drop the file.

Select the check boxes if your sheet contains the headers and then if you only want to process the new results.

Click "Execute CSV" button and it will start processing your CSV.

Now you can see the logs and also download the results from results page.

If you want to download the CSV, click on that green "Results" button and it will show you a nice table with a button to download the CSV.

Congratulations you just ran your first Spice with CSVs 🎉
